Living Room was set up in 2005, as a method of outreach and worship for the Youth at Olton Baptist (YOBs). It is run largely by YOBs with some steer from some of the older generation.

Living Room’s aim is to get the clear message of God out into the young community (14-20 age-bracket) in a relevant, interesting and thought-provoking manner. The event is tailored towards a blend of Christians and non-Christians alike, and is intended as a method of encouraging non-Christians to consider God’s message, and how it can impact on them
Living Room is intended to be fluid. We aim never to have any one Living Room the same as a previous Living Room. We believe that it’s important that people can come along, and not necessarily expect a fixed agenda. We always endeavour to do at least one thing different each time, and believe this is important to help develop Living Room as a tool to bring people to Christ.
